What is an Easter Eggstravaganza?
It's the new-age, online version of the world-famous critically acclaimed Dubbeldam family annual Easter egg decorating competition. The Eggstraveganza is a lovechild of the family's adoration of Jesus Christ Superstar and fierce competition.

Are there any rules?

Oh yes. You can find the rules here. And we take them exactly as seriously as you'd expect.

Who decides who wins?

The champions are determined by a vote of the people!

After the submission deadline (one week after Easter Sunday) the submissions page will go live. Each lovely egg will be listed anonymously and in random order on a voting page. Voters will fill in an electronic survey form and cast their votes to help make history.

After voting closes, all votes are tallied and the winning eggs are determined based on the number of unique votes each egg receives.

Votes cannot be disclosed, due to the potential of massive hurt feelings and the risk of future voter intimidation or manipulation. Annually, the votes are audited by multiple sources to ensure the accuracy, fairness, and integrity of the Easter Eggstravaganza.

What is the deadline to submit?

2024 Important Dates

Easter Sunday: March 31

Egg Submission Deadline: Monday, April 08

Voting is Open: April 10 to April 17

Champion is Crowned: April 20

How can I get in on the action?
